Private Residence at Windmill Golf Club is conceived as a quiet retreat from the intensity of Bangkok, set within a lush golf-course landscape where architecture and nature exist in gentle continuity. Oriented toward the lake, the residence frames serene views from its living spaces, allowing the surrounding landscape to become an integral part of everyday life.
The architecture explores the phenomena between light, material, space, and human experience. Ribboned openings and a transparent building skin dissolve the boundary between interior and exterior, while a restrained palette of natural materials and neutral tones creates a calm visual flow. Landscape, filtered light, and layered screens continuously transform the atmosphere, allowing the architecture to be experienced differently throughout the day.
Open living spaces encourage interaction, while a central courtyard introduces light, air, and a sense of connection to the more private upper level. Carefully composed thresholds, screens, and semi-transparent surfaces balance openness with intimacy. Through light, material, and space, SPACY creates architecture that is quietly distinctive, emotionally resonant, and deeply experiential.
